The Pinarello Grevil F is a versatile bike that helps you go full gas anywhere. Classified as a gravel bike, it has no problem adventuring into the unknown but is also very fast on the road. Pinarello refers to it as the off-road Dogma. With an aerodynamic frame that is lighter and stiffer than ever, you can count on pure speed regardless of where you take the Grevil F. It is also ready to accommodate virtually any combination of wheels and tires so you can set your bike up based on the type of terrain you plan to ride. The Pinarello Grevil F gives you complete freedom to push the limits of any terrain while providing that famous Pinarello speed.
When it comes to gravel riding, aerodynamics are often ignored. The reality is that many gravel races are around 200km long. An aerodynamically efficient setup can save you tons of time over that distance. At high speeds, every watt saved can be the difference between a best time and an average day. The Grevil F brings back the famed Fork Flap, contributing to its aero efficiency. The Fork Flap stabilizes chaotic airflow brought on by gravel riding at the front end and evenly disperses it for lower resistance. A Flat Back Profile was borrowed from the Dogma, reducing drag on the tube, especially with water bottles equipped.
Despite its focus on speed, the Grevil F gives you a geometry that is confident and stable on less than forgiving terrain. Compared to Pinarello’s road models, the Grevil F has a shorter reach and a higher stack to create better handling and a more comfortable ride. The seat tube angle is also increased for more tire clearance. The chainstay length also manages larger wheels better and finds the sweet spot between comfort and responsiveness. The right chainstay and seat stay are rotated downward, making both rear triangles symmetrical. They respond the same to uniform pedal strokes and absorb impact coming from the wheel in a uniform manner. The Grevil F is set up to keep you comfortable while moving fast.
The frame of the Grevil F is constructed with T700 carbon fiber, the same material found on many Pinarello performance race bikes. With the help of world class carbon manufacturer, Toray, they combined high-modulus fibers with high strength fibers. This helped to strike the perfect balance of rigidity and vibration absorption. According to Pinarello, this frame is 8 percent stiffer and 4 percent more aerodynamic than the previous Grevil frame. It also saves 5 watts at 40 km/hr. The frame is completely integrated with a TiCR system to help route all cables internally, keeping them out of the elements and eliminating rattle. Internal routing also increases aerodynamic efficiency and makes it much easier to load bags. The Pinarello Grevil F is simply one of the fastest and most capable bikes the market has to offer.
