Skate boarder style meets mountain bike execution and performance – with Mips protection thrown in – to create the very-trail-ready Giro Feature Mips.

Giro relies on some of their top technologies to create a fantastic off-road lid with great coverage for the back of the head. Giro fuses the EPS liner to the polycarbonate outer shell with the company's In Mold technology. The result is a lighter, stronger helmet. And Giro's In Form fit system is perfect for the Feature Mips helmet's extended back – it cradles the back of the head for a stable platform that will stay comfortably in place even while bouncing down the roughest terrains at mach speed. A micro-adjustment dial allows you to fine-tune the fit on the fly with one hand, and the entire interface can move vertically to perfectly fit your head and to allow for goggle strap placement. Do note that the Feature Mips' fit differs from some other Giro helmets, and that it best fits those with a rounder head shape.

Thanks to Mips (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) technology, the Feature Mips helmet's sliding layer and sliding enablers, your head will be better protected in a crash. Should you hit your head, the helmet will dissipate more of the rotational forces before they reach your head and your brain. The helmet mimics the cerebrospinal fluid in your head  – your body's own brain protection system. Rotational impacts happen, and your head is better protected with Mips – simple as that.

Vents in the front of the Giro Feature Mips helmet feed air into channels that run across the top of your head, and air is then pushed out the exhaust ports in the back. There are twelve large vents in total. The result is a cooler, more comfortable ride and better performance. An extended built-in visor provides extra coverage and is easy to flip up and secure in place with an adjustment dial. Goggle integration is important for all-mountain riding, and a channel running horizontally across the rear of the helmet handles that.

Grab a feature-rich Feature Mips helmet, and go rip some of your favorite single track in style.
